Faculty Mentoring Faculty Program
The Faculty Mentoring Faculty Program (FMFP) provides UC Davis faculty members an opportunity to mentor and to learn from other faculty members interested in innovative teaching. FMFP participants learn about a wide variety of innovative teaching practices, such as encouraging collaborative learning, teaching in networked environments, and effective lecturing to large audiences of students. The mentoring program’s success depends upon participants sharing their discoveries and expertise with fellow faculty, and building formal and informal networks of faculty members who seek effective and innovative ways to meet their teaching goals.
Meetings take place sporadically in 250 Olson. Watch for announcements! If you’d like to sign up to hear about presentations in this series and other opportunities, get on our CETL faculty listserv.
Faculty interested in participating should contact Dr. Winder McConnell, Faculty Mentoring Faculty Program Coordinator, at wamcconnell@ucdavis.edu or 752-6050.
Sponsored by the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning and Academic Technology Services. To see video of many past FMFP presentations, visit http://fmfp.ucdavis.edu.
