TA Orientation, Part II

The second part of the TA Orientation, which is required for all graduate students who begin to TA in Fall 2011, Winter 2012, or Spring 2012, will take place on Friday, January 6, 2012. The workshops are designed to improve your skills as a TA and to help you be more effective in your interactions with your students.

Each TA who has not yet taken Part II of the TA Orientation is required to attend at least one of the following workshops.

Space is limited, so you must sign up for a workshop in order to take it.  Your name will be added to the attendance list for that workshop, and you will be asked to sign in during the workshop to record your participation. All workshops will take place in Olson Hall.

Can’t make it back to Davis by January 6?  While the date of Part II of the TA Orientation was advertised well in advance, we realize that you may have forgotten the date and made airplane reservations.  If you are in this situation, you do not need to change your plane tickets.  Please request a postponement here.

Questions?  See the TAO Frequently Asked Questions page.
